Children's Karate
Our children's classes place a focus on our 3 rules: Self Discipline, Self Control, and Respect for others. This way your child can develop the ability to control his or her body and behavior, be responsible and develop the ability to do daily tasks without being reminded, as well as learn be polite, well mannered, and courteous towards adults and peers alike. Also, by utilizing positive reinforcement techniques, we will be building your child's self esteem and self confidence through the growth in their physical abilities so that they can resist unhealthy peer pressure and have a positive self image as they progress through school. With their martial arts training, we tailor our teaching methods to each group and ability level in order to keep classes exciting, fun, and motivating.

Our instructors have not only mastered their Martial arts abilities, but are trained to teach children. Simply being a Black belt does not automatically make someone an excellent instructor, which is why our professional instructors receive regular training on teaching methods, motivation techniques and other vital skills so children and adults alike receive the best experience on the path to becoming a Black Belt.
As students progress, they will earn colored belts and awards. Our program is designed as such so that children set achievable goals and make regular progress throughout their training so that they can feel more confident about their physical and mental skills and abilites.

Adult Karate
Classes at the adult level are fun, motivating, and exciting to participate in. Many adults experience positive benefits such as weight loss, improved muscle tone, an increase in flexibility, lower stress levels, and many other benefits while progressing on the way towards becoming a Black Belt.
Also, as a part of the adult program, you will experience self defense topics that are easy to learn and informative which will help you to feel more confident when going to your car, walking by yourself, and doing other everyday tasks away from home.
"I tried going to the gym to get in shape, but I lost interest really fast. I was really good for a few weeks, then I went less and less. It just wasn't motivating being on a treadmill or lifting weights for long periods and I was getting discouraged. I was a really apprehensive about trying out karate, but it turned out to be a very positive experience. I came in and everyone was happy and very pleasant. I'm motivated to come to class, I'm getting back in shape, and I feel progress every class. Mr. Olson and the other instructors make it a very friendly atmosphere where I never feel intimidated and I can learn."
