I often receive compliments from parents and students about the wonderful staff we have and the positive impact Martial Arts has had on them and their family.
These compliments take me back to when I was seventeen. There was a high school teacher who during lunch would practice Karate in the gym, and it fascinated me; soon he was teaching four or five of us and I was hooked. Before long I took up formal training. Over the years I would study under many different instructors, but I will never forget the man who first sparked my interest and started me down the path of the Martial Arts.
The fact that I am teaching Karate today, that there is a school in your community, that through that school we have touched you and thousands of other lives are all a result of that individual taking the time to teach me. And the ripple effect of his simple effort will continue to spread long after he’s gone.
Such is the power of the contribution we make when we teach another. It is with that spirit that I invite you to apply to our annual Instructor College Bootcamp, held this year on March 3rd, 2018 at the Windsor, CT dojo.

The CIT bootcamp is the first step to becoming a Martial Arts Professional. This course will open your eyes to the techniques that will give you the power to walk in and take charge of any class and deliver a high energy, enthusiastic workout out that will leave students with the benefits they’re looking for. At the end of the night you will have a clear picture of what it takes to be a Professional Martial Arts Instructor. You will understand the skills and responsibilities you will need to develop to become a Villari’s staff member.
